West Silverado Ranch and South Valley View is where The State of Nevada suggest opening its newest DMV in South Las Vegas Nevada according to federalregister.gov.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease and conveyance under the provisions of the Taylor Grazing Act and the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, approximately 20 acres of public land.
This proposed location would be a a full service DMV facility that will offer drivers licenses, vehicle registrations, and issuing license plates. A drive test parking lot is also included as well as a motorcycle test course, commercial drivers’ license test course, and employee and visitor parking lots. No dates have been set yet, but interested parties have until June 16, 2016 to submit a written comment regarding the proposal.
It will be interesting to see how the houses for sale in that area will do and its overall effect in the local Las Vegas Real Estate market. Do you think values will go up or down from this recent news???
